Healthy Shrimp Broccoli Stir Fry


Easy and quick recipe anyone can try. It’s super easy to put together and is ready in no time.


Stir fry recipes are the best. They are so versatile and you can pretty much use whatever available ingredient you have.


Shrimp broccoli stir fry is one of my favorite recipes and you’ll find regularly at our dinner table. Healthy and deliciously a knock out recipe.


INGREDIENTS


1 1/2 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined  

3 cups broccoli, cut into small florets
1 tablespoon canola oil
3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
2 teaspoon minced ginger
1 small onion, sliced
1 medium bell pepper
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
3 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 teaspoon honey
green onion,thinly sliced
sesame seeds (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS


1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey and cornstarch. Set aside.


2. Heat a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon oil and shrimp stir-fry about 2 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove shrimp from pan. Do not overcook. 


3. Stir-fry garlic,ginger, bell pepper and onions until translucent. Add the shrimp and broccoli stirring frequently, until tender, about 2-3 minutes.


4. Stir in soy sauce mixture until well combined and slightly thickened, about 1-2 minutes.


5. Serve immediately over rice. Garnished with sesame seeds and green onion, if desired.
